Our Anti-HRP antibodies are designed to reliably detect HRP, and each antibody is designed for use in western blot, immunocytochemistry, and ELISA. HRP (horseradish peroxidase) is an enzyme frequently used as an indicator in biochemical assays such as ELISAs and Western Blotting. It is used to amplify signals. HRP acts with chromogenic substrates such as TMB, to produce visible colors and acts on chemiluminescent substrates to produce light. HRP is often conjugated to antibodies that detect a target molecule. The antibody specifically locates the target, and HRP along with a substrate, produces a detectable signal.
