Glutathione monoisopropyl ester effectively inhibits ultraviolet-induced lipid peroxidation, inflammatory responses, and tumorigenesis in the skin of hairless mice by maintaining epidermal glutathione levels. Glutathione monoisopropyl ester also inhibits the progression of X-ray-induced cataracts in rats[1][2][3].
