MK-0963 is a steroidal 5alpha-reductase inhibitor. MK-0963 reduces serum dihydrotestosterone (DHT) concentrations in a dose-dependent manner. MK-0963 can be used for the study of dihydrotestosterone-related diseases such as benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH)[1].
