Amosulalol (YM 09538) hydrochloride is an orally active and dual inhibitor of alpha1/beta1-Adrenergic Receptor. Amosulalol hydrochloride exhibits antihypertensive activity via alpha1-Adrenergic Receptor inhibition. Amosulalol hydrochloride decreases reflexogenic increases in heart rate and plasma renin activity (PRA) via beta1-Adrenergic Receptor inhibition in spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR)[1].
