RN983 (Compound 1) is a highly selective Brutons tyrosine kinase (Btk) inhibitor. RN983 inhibits IgG production in B-cells with an IC50 of 2.5 nM and PGD2 production from mast cells with an IC50 of 8.3 nM. RN983 is promising for research of asthma and other allergic diseases[1].
