AZD-4316 is a respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) L protein inhibitor. AZD-4316 has an inhibitory effect on RSV A subtypes (such as strain A2) and can effectively block viral replication in the early stage of infection (the viral entry stage). AZD-4316 is inactive when administered 12-24 hours after infection. AZD-4316 can be used for the research of RSV infection[1].
