L-751788 is a selective inhibitor of type I of 5alpha-reductase. L-751788 does not have a significant impact on the differentiation of the external genitalia in animals. When administered orally to pregnant rhesus monkeys, L-751788 (2, 10 mg/kg) did not cause abnormalities in fetal external genitalia[1].
