| MDPD is a selective Arabidopsis fatty acid amide hydrolase (AtFAAH) activator. MDPD enhances apparent maximum enzymatic activity and catalytic efficiency of AtFAAH, increasing N-acylethanolamine (NAE) hydrolysis rate without altering substrate affinity. MDPD attenuates NAE 12:0-induced growth inhibition in Arabidopsis seedlings[1]. |
