Parsalmide is an orally active non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and gastroprotective agent, with an IC50 of 9.92 µM against COX-1 and 155 µM against COX-2. Parsalmide prevents gastric injury and reduces edema. Parsalmide can be used in the research of arthritis[1].
