SIS17 is a mammalian histone deacetylase 11 (HDAC 11) inhibitor with an IC50 value of 0.83 µM. SIS17 inhibits the demyristoylation of serine hydroxymethyltransferase 2, a substrate of HDAC 11, but does not inhibit other HDACs[1].
