H-Tyr-AMC is a fluorogenic substrate for tyrosine aminopeptidases. H-Tyr-AMC is an inhibitor of tobacco and potato hydroxycinnamoyl-CoA:tyramine N-(hydroxycinnamoyl)transferase (THT) with Ki values of 0.72 µM (tobacco) and 0.42 µM (potato)[1].
