Apricoxib (CS 706) is a selective inhibitor for cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). Apricoxib inhibits the production of PGE2 in cells with IC50 of 1.5 nM. Apricoxib exhibits anticancer, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities[1].
