TMV-IN-12 (compound 4) is an inhibitor of tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) with antifungal properties. TMV-IN-12 effectively prevents TMV particle aggregation and self-assembly of TMV capsid protein (TMV-CP) (Kd=0.142 µM), preventing TMV from infecting tobacco plants[1].
