6'SLN (Neu5Acalpha2-6Galbeta1-4GlcNAc) is a cancer-associated characteristic glycan on the surface of extracellular vesicles (EVs), and represents the major form of protein glycosylation in EVs. 6'SLN is also a sialic acid derivative that interacts with hemagglutinins (HAs) from human and avian influenza virus strains. 6'SLN is applicable for the research of influenza and malignant tumors[1][2].
