Antituberculosis agent-15 (Compound 18c) is a selective antimycobacterial agent with MICs of 0.45 and 0.28 µM for M. tuberculosis H37Rv (ATCC 27294) and its wild-type H37Rv-LP (ATCC 25618), respectively. Antituberculosis agent-15 has potent intracellular inhibitory activities in macrophage infection models with IC50s of 0.16 µM. Antituberculosis agent-15 can be used for tuberculosis research[1].
