CHIPOpt, a peptide, is an orthosteric CHIP TPR domain inhibitor with a Kd of 16 nM. CHIPOpt has anti-aggregation activity and decreases p.tau ubiquitination with little effect on unmodified tau. CHIPOpt can be used for Alzheimers disease research[1].
