Antibiofilm agent-20 is an orally active Escherichia coli biofilm inhibitor (IC50 = 5.5 µg/mL) and show low antibacterial activity (MIC >128 µg/mL). Antibiofilm agent-20 exhibits high lipophilicity and low solubility, resulting in low colon delivery rate. Antibiofilm agent-20 demonstrates anti-inflammatory and reduces IL-17 and TNF-alpha levels. Antibiofilm agent-20 can be used for the research of inflammatory bowel disease[1].
