Nitramisole is a nitrobenzene-heterocycle conjugate and microfilaricide. Nitramisole kills microfilariae of Brugia malayi, Dipetalonema viteae and Litomosoides carinii. Nitramisole can be used for the research of filariasis (Brugia malayi, Dipetalonema viteae, Litomosoides carinii infections)[1].
