Tiropramide hydrochloride inhibits phosphodiesterase activity involved in cAMP catabolism in rabbit colon homogenates. Tiropramide hydrochloride relaxes smooth muscle in rabbit isolated colon. Tiropramide hydrochloride can be used for the research of irritable colon and biliary dyskinesia[1][2].
