Carpronium (Actinomin) chloride is a parasympathetic nerve stimulant with a chemical structure similar to acetylcholine. Carpronium chloride has Cholinergic and local vasodilatory activities, and it promotes hair growth by its vasodilatory effect on local blood vessels and the stimulation of the transition from telogen phase to anagen phase as well as parasympathetic nerves activities. Carpronium chloride can be used for immunotherapy of alopecia areata, seborrhea sicca and vitiligo research[1][2].
