Peroxidase, Lignin is an extracellular class II heme peroxidase (EC1.11.1.14) containing iron porphyrin, which exists in white-rot basidiomycetes. Peroxidase, Lignin can degrade xenobiotics as well as compounds containing phenolic and non-phenolic components. Peroxidase, Lignin can be used in studies of hyperpigmentation[1].
