alpha,alpha-Trehalose (EC 3.2.1.28) is an anomer-inverting glucosidase that catalyses the hydrolysis of the alpha-glucosidic O-linkage of alpha,alpha-Trehalose, releasing initially equimolar amounts of alpha-and beta-D-glucose.
