Andrographolide is a NF-kappaB inhibitor, which inhibits NF-kappaB activation through covalent modification of a cysteine residue on p50 in endothelial cells without affecting IkappaBalpha degradation or p50/p65 nuclear translocation. Andrographolide has antiviral effects.
