Anhydrohirundigenin mono-thevetoside upregulates the expression levels of caspase-3, caspase-9 and Bax, and downregulates the expression level of Bcl-2. Anhydrohirundigenin mono-thevetoside induces cell cycle arrest at the G1 phase. Anhydrohirundigenin mono-thevetoside can be used in research related to liver cancer, lung cancer and breast cancer[1].
