Lauroscholtzine (N-Methyllaurotetanine) is a high-affinity ligand for the 5-HT7 receptor, with Ki values of 314, 323, 566, 306, 20 and 373 nM for 5-HT1A, 5-HT2B, 5-HT5A, 5-HT6 and 5-HT7, respectively. Lauroscholtzine also exhibits affinity for the dopamine D1 receptor with a Ki of 373 nM. Lauroscholtzine can be used for the research of central nervous system diseases[1].
