Ergolide is a sesquiterpene lactone isolated from the dried flowers of Inula Britannica. Ergolide inhibits inducible nitric oxide synthase and cyclo-oxygenase-2 expression in RAW 264.7 macrophages through the inactivation of NF-kappaB[1].
