Isoforskolin reduces the secretion of lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced cytokines, namely TNF-alpha, IL-1beta, IL-6 and IL-8, in human mononuclear leukocytes. Isoforskolin acts as an anti-inflammatory agent for the treatment of Lyme arthritis[1].
