TGFbeta1-IN-4 is a TGF-beta1 inhibitor. TGFbeta1-IN-4 inhibits myofibroblast activation and epithelial-mesenchymal transition in vitro. TGFbeta1-IN-4 alleviates renal fibrosis in a mouse model of renal fibrosis. TGFbeta1-IN-4 can be used for research on fibrotic diseases such as renal fibrosis[1].
