Azide-iRGD is a functional derivative of the tumor-penetrating peptide iRGD (HY-P0122), with an azide group modified at its N-terminus to serve as a click chemistry reaction site. Azide-iRGD binds to alphavbeta3 integrin, which is highly expressed on tumor cells and stroma, and can be used to construct multifunctional nucleic acid delivery nanoparticles[1].
