EP5-1 is an antimicrobial peptide. EP5-1 has antibacterial and antifungal activities. EP5-1 also shows antitumor activity against cancer cells, and induces cell apoptosis. EP5-1 has antiviral activity against pseudorabies virus (PRV)[1].
