Fasciculin-I is isolated from the mambas venom. Fasciculin-I exerts its toxic effects by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase (AChE). Fasciculin-I blocks alpha-neurotoxins of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors and cardiac toxins that interact with cell membranes [1].
