The IL-18BP protein is an inhibitor of IL-18, which binds to IL-18 and prevents IL-18 from binding to its receptor, thereby inhibiting IL-18-induced IFN-gamma production. IL-18BP protein is constitutively expressed and secreted in monocytes. IFN-gamma can enhance the expression of this protein. IL-18BP Protein, Cynomolgus (Biotinylated, HEK293, His) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived IL-18BP protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
