The TALDO1 protein plays a key role in cellular metabolism by catalyzing the rate-limiting step in the non-oxidative phase of the pentose phosphate pathway. Multiple studies have shown that it promotes the reversible conversion of sedoheptulose 7-phosphate and D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate into erythrose 4-phosphate and beta-D-fructose 6-phosphate. TALDO1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived TALDO1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.
