The SARS-CoV Spike glycoprotein (S) has three subunits S1, S2 and S2 through alternative splicing. S protein orchestrates viral entry by attaching the virion to the cell membrane through interactions with human ACE2 and CLEC4M/DC-SIGNR receptors.
