CD24 protein plays a pivotal role in cell differentiation across various cell types, with signaling potentially initiated by lectin-like ligand binding to CD24 carbohydrates, transduced through second messengers released from the GPI-anchor. CD24 also modulates B-cell activation responses, promoting AG-dependent B-cell proliferation and preventing terminal differentiation into antibody-forming cells. In association with SIGLEC10, CD24 contributes to the selective suppression of the immune response to DAMPs such as HMGB1, HSP70, and HSP90, suggesting a role in immune regulation. Additionally, CD24 is implicated in controlling autoimmunity, exhibiting cell-type-specific interactions with LYN and FGR in diverse cellular processes and immune regulation. CD24 Protein, Cynomolgus (Biotinylated, HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived CD24 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.
