Siglec-9 Protein is a member of the Siglec cell surface immunoglobulin family. Siglec-9 is highly expressed on human neutrophils and monocytes and low on natural killer cells, and sub-populations of T and B lymphocytes. Siglec-9 induces human neutrophil apoptosis and autophagy-like cell death and also inhibits tumor activity[1][2][3].
