DS-1055a (FUT8-KO) is an anti-human GARP antibody that has knocked out the fucosyltransferase 8 gene (FUT8). It exhibits enhanced antibody-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) effect. DS-1055a (FUT8-KO) can effectively eliminate GARP-positive regulatory T cells in the tumor microenvironment and activate effector T cells. DS-1055a (FUT8-KO) has anti-tumor activity and can be used in cancer research (such as colon cancer)[1].
