264RAD is a human monoclonal antibody targeting alphavbeta6 integrin, with partial inhibitory activity against integrin alphavbeta8 as well. 264RAD cross-reacts with alphavbeta6 from humans, mice and cynomolgus monkeys, but only exerts incomplete inhibition on ligand binding of alphavbeta8. 264RAD blocks integrin ligand binding, inhibits the pErk growth signal, promotes cell apoptosis, suppresses the TGFbeta signaling pathway, reduces the number of alphaSMA-positive myofibroblasts, decreases vascular density, inhibits tumor cell invasion, and reduces the production of MMP-9. 264RAD can be used in research related to pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, epithelial tumors and breast cancer[1][2].
