FcgammaRs bind to and neutralize pathogenic IgG, thereby acting as a decoy or scavenger receptor that reduces the severity of autoimmune diseases. Valziflocept is used in research on autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)[1][2][3].
