Perfluorododecanoic acid (PFDoA) is a perfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) found in lake trout. Perfluorododecanoic acid decreases the viability of PC12 cells. Perfluorododecanoic acid also increases reactive oxygen species (ROS), malondialdehyde (MDA) levels and reduces the mitochondrial membrane potential in PC12 cells[1][2].
