Avian Influenza Hemmagglutinin 4 Antibody was produced from whole goat serum prepared by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region of the Hemagglutinin protein. Efforts were made to use relatively conserved regions of the viral sequence as the antigen.

Form:
Liquid (sterile filtered)
Antibody Type:
Primary Antibody
Application Dilute:
ELISA: 1 µg/ml
Application Notes:
Anti-Avian Influenza Hemagglutinin Antibody is tested for use in ELISA. Expect a band approximately ~64.2 kDa on specific lysates. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
ELISA Validation with H5N1 HA Protein. Coating Antigen: H5N1 Hemagglutinin recombinant protein at 2 µg/mL at 4 C overnight. Detection antibody: Avian Influenza H5N1 HA antibody at 0.3-1000 ng/mL at RT for 1 hr. Secondary antibody: Rabbit anti-goat HRP at 1:10,000 at RT for 1 hr.
Western Blot Validation with H5N1 HA Protein. Load: 30 ng H5N1 Hemagglutinin recombinant protein. Primary antibody: Avian Influenza H5N1 HA antibody at (Lane 1: 0.5 µg/mL, Lane 2: 1 µg/mL) for 1h at RT in 5% NFDM/TBST. Secondary: Rabbit anti-goat IgG HRP conjugate at 1:10,000 dilution.
