Anti-Avian Influenza Hemagglutinin 2 antibody was prepared from whole goat serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to 12 amino acids near the N-terminus of the Hemagglutinin protein. Efforts were made to use relatively conserved regions of the viral sequence as the antigen.
