Non-viable cell pellet was generated from cell line WM8. WM8 is a metastatic human melanoma cell line. This cell line features the specific N818K mutation in the c-KIT gene. This cell line expresses wild type BRAF, PTEN, N-RAS, and CDK4 genes. WM8 cells produce xenograft tumors when injected into immunocompromised mice.
