TargetMol Mag Beads Dextran are superparamagnetic iron oxide particles with an average particle size between 13-15 nm, which are coated with dextran molecules. The dextran shell layer on the surface of the particles makes them biocompatible and suitable for a variety of biological applications. The surface functional group is a carboxyl group, which enables the beads to efficiently bind to various biomolecules (e.g., proteins, antibodies, and enzymes) via covalent bonding, and is widely used in biological separation, purification, and detection.
