Targeted Mols B-27 serum-free additive (50X) is a high-performance cell culture additive designed specifically for central nervous system (CNS) related research. It can effectively support the growth, differentiation, and functional maintenance of neurons under serum-free conditions. This product is suitable for in vitro culture of hippocampal neurons and other CNS neurons from embryonic, postnatal, and adult sources. It is widely used in various culture systems such as adherent monolayers or suspended neurospheres, and is an ideal choice for culturing neural progenitor cells and neural stem cells without inducing their differentiation. B-27 additive is provided in the form of 50X concentrated solution and is recommended to be used in combination with Neurobasal or Neurobasal-A medium. It can significantly enhance neuronal activity and long-term survival rate without the need for astrocyte feeder layer.
