TargetMols ATP Assay Kit is a highly sensitive chemiluminescent assay designed for the quantitative determination of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) levels in cells or tissue samples. ATP is the primary energy carrier within cells and plays a central role in cellular metabolism, signal transduction, and physiological regulation. Its intracellular level directly reflects cell viability, metabolic status, and the extent of cellular damage. Therefore, ATP measurement is widely used as a key indicator for evaluating cell survival and energy metabolism. This kit is based on the luciferin-firefly luciferase bioluminescent reaction principle. In the presence of luciferase, ATP drives the oxidation of luciferin to produce an excited-state product that emits a measurable chemiluminescent signal.
