In the United States, florfenicol is currently used to treat bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Haemophilus somnus, to treat bovine interdigital phlegmon associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus.
