YM-I-26 is a selective inhibitor of the NLRP3 inflammasome. This compound enhances the phagocytic activity of beta-amyloid in murine microglial BV2 cells and reduces the production of IL-1beta and IL-10. YM-I-26 is useful for research into inflammation-related immunomodulatory activities.
