Microtubule inhibitor 12 (Compound 2k) is a microtubule polymerization inhibitor with an IC50 of 22.23 µM. It causes cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase in B16-F10 cells, induces apoptosis, and impedes cell migration. This compound inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells B16-F10, A549, HepG2, and MCF-7 with IC50 values of 0.098, 0.135, 0.109, and 0.259 µM, respectively, and demonstrates antitumor activity in mouse models.
