IPMCL-28b is an antimicrobial agent targeting bacterial cell membranes, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 1.56 µg/mL for Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and an MIC of 6.25 µg/mL for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). IPMCL-28b shows potential for research in the field of infection control.
